All across the United States, police departments and police officers are shrilly demonized as racist, cold-blooded killers by the opportunistic race hustlers of the left.
Sound familiar?
Indeed, the hatred of police from the liberal left echoes their endless demonization of Israel, the Jewish state.
And their ghoulish liberal/progressive/leftist/socialist counterparts are thriving in Europe and Scandinavia.
Here, journalist Caroline Glick savages the Orwellian Newspeak of a Danish Ambassador whose polite and condescending language barely masks the Jew-hatred that is, and always has been, the common currency of Europe and Scandinavia.
The very same arguments with which Ms. Glick savages the Danish ambassador applies to America’s police-hating left.

Scandanavia is in Europe.
Am I the only person alive who has read Kipling? Do the people who demonize Israel-or cops-know what “making mock of uniforms that guard you while you sleep” means?
I logged in because I was wondering why my comment was deleted. I wish everybody on this website who celebrates it a very Merry Christmas.
Ring Out, Wild Bells
from In Memoriam A.H.H. by Alfred, Lord Tennyson (1849)
Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
The flying cloud, the frosty light;
The year is dying in the night;
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.
Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
Ring out the grief that saps the mind,
For those that here we see no more,
Ring out the feud of rich and poor,
Ring in redress to all mankind.
Ring out a slowly dying cause,
And ancient forms of party strife;
Ring in the nobler modes of life,
With sweeter manners, purer laws.
Ring out the want, the care the sin,
The faithless coldness of the times;
Ring out, ring out my mournful rhymes,
But ring the fuller minstrel in.
Ring out false pride in place and blood,
The civic slander and the spite;
Ring in the love of truth and right,
Ring in the common love of good.
Ring out old shapes of foul disease,
Ring out the narrowing lust of gold;
Ring out the thousand wars of old,
Ring in the thousand years of peace.
Ring in the valiant man and free,
The larger heart, the kindlier hand;
Ring out the darkenss of the land,
Ring in the Christ that is to be.

So, you think that those who wear uniforms are above criticism for poor, bad, or even evil behavior? One should not stand by silently while evil done by uniforms purported to guard you continues. Criticism promotes health by offering the possibility of improvement. Demonizing is demonic.
Quoting the “good bad poet” with some convenient epigram reminds me of Orwell’s essay on Rudyard Kipling: http://www.george-orwell.org/Rudyard_Kipling/0
I haven’t been able to find the Danish Ambassador’s response to Caroline. Did he make one?
I tried to find a response — there must have been one — but couldn’t come up with a video or a transcript, not even on JPost.
Searching around landed me on one site on which the writer, clearly anti-Israel, could only react like the typical leftist with meta-arguments: attack the facial expressions and body language, along with name calling of Glick (rhetoric) instead of countering her arguments that the blogger might disagree with (dialectic). Comments on that article were by more naysayers with nothing intelligent to say.
You cannot debate such leftists using rhetoric. That’s their weapon with which they appeal to nonthinkers and the thoughtless. Instead, you have to beat them about the head and shoulders with facts and logic and call them on every one of their phony, fallacious appeals to emotion. That’s all they can fall back on. They have nothing else.
Wow. She’s great.
