Affirmative Action for med school pretty much FORCES us to pay attention to the race of a prospective doctor, no? If you employ a white (male) physician, you can be SURE that he got into school on his merit, not because he filled some sort of (official or unofficial) quota.
Medical schools now have diversity associate deans. Since they are 60% female students, this must mean that black students are to be recruited and protected. I taught medical students for 15 years. Many of my black students were foreign born. I wonder what percentage of the black students being recruited are n to American born? A high percentage, I suspect,.
